2/5/18 TUTORIAL
With none of us being familiar with using Rhinocerous (CAD program), we got stuck with importing the Custom Fuel Tank file, provided on the BEIL0014 blog, onto Slicer for Fusion 360
Giving it a go.
We discussed this with Martin, and even considered redoing the entire model using Solidworks, which is a program we are familiar with.
However, knowing that other groups were experiencing the same issue, Russel (proficient user) decided to lend us all a hand in importing the file during our tutorial.
Demonstrating 3dsMax
He also took the opportunity to teach us another CAD program called Autodesk 3dsMax, which I found quite interesting. He first created an organic shape as an example, and later replicated a series of variation in form from it.
But at the end, the most important thing from this process was importing the file onto SLICER, which we did.
